Recycling Up 39% In Fort McMurray

The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo announced yesterday that for the first six months of 2009 the local recycling depots collected 496 tonnes of material — the most for the region in a six month period. This represents a 39% increase in the waste brought in over the same period last year.
